Welcome to White River Campground, a beautiful RV park on the banks of the White River in Flippin, Arkansas. The crystal clear waters of the White River are the trout fishing capital of the USA, with our park scenically located alongside the historic RM Ruthven Rainbow Arch Bridge.
We have made many improvement to the park within the past two years, including all of the following:
• Additional street lighting
• WiFi updated throughout the park
• Doggy waste stations •
• Extensive landscaping • Benches added throughout the park • Remodeled Bunkhouse & Woodside Cabin •
• Full hookup site improvements • New tent sites with water & electric • Office remodeling •
• New picnic tables • New community fire pit • New horseshoe pits • New .75 mile Marilyn Way walking trail • New charcoal/propane grill at pavilion •
One of the BIGGEST changes was the grand opening of the air-conditioned rec center in May of 2022. It has a pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, an electric train, a Wii game system, board games and a Book Nook & Kreativity Center. The center has books for all ages to be taken, or preferably exchanged. It also has Lincoln logs, Legos, K’Nex, coloring books and more. There is a 70” TV for our guests to use for gaming / watching TV. There is something for everyone.
Planned improvements are ongoing, including major enhancements to our pond, additional cabin improvements, and updated laundry facilities.
As you venture beyond the park, the town of Cotter is just across the river, with antique stores, artisan shops and a variety of restaurants, and our campground will serve as your perfect base to explore the many area attractions, including beautiful caverns and the Ozark National Forest. A bit further afield, Branson, Missouri and Eureka Springs, Arkansas are easy day trips.
Please plan on making your reservations to stay with us this season. We are looking forward to meeting new guests and making new friends!
